Overview
This article explains how to lock a DORA experiment after it's been completed. Locking prevents accidental changes by disabling all editing and submission actions, while still allowing users to view the setup and results. Only the experiment creator can lock or unlock it.
This feature is especially useful for geologists who want to preserve the integrity of final prediction outputs and avoid unintentional overwriting by others or themselves.

Experiments are unlocked by default when created.
Only the experiment creator can lock or unlock the experiment.
If an experiment is locked, anyone with access can still duplicate it to create a new, editable version.
Users can toggle layers on and off while viewing a locked experiment, but these changes won’t affect the saved settings or what other users see.
