Change Your Password in the VRIFY App

Learn how to update your password on the iPad if you know your current password, or if you have forgotten your password.

Overview

Follow the steps below to change your VRIFY account password on the iOS app.

You can update your password in two ways: by changing it directly if you know your current password, or by resetting it if you’ve forgotten it.


Step-By-Step Instructions

If you know your current password:

  1. Open the VRIFY App

    • Tap the VRIFY icon on your iPad to open the app.

  2. Open Settings

    • Tap the settings icon in the top‑right corner (it usually shows your initials).

      • Change option in the Settings section

  3. Start the Password Change

    • Find Password and tap Change.

    • This opens the VRIFY Admin page in your default web browser.

  4. Go to Profile Settings

    • Under Profile Settings, tap Change Password.

  5. Enter Current Password

    • Type your current password to verify your identity.

  6. Create and Confirm New Password

    • Enter your new password, then enter it again to confirm it matches.

    • Note: Your password should be at least 8 characters, and contain at least 1 uppercase and lowercase letter, a number, and a special character (?#@%, etc)

  7. Save Changes

    • Tap Save Changes to finish.


If you have forgotten your password:

  1. Open the VRIFY App

    • Tap the VRIFY icon on your iPad to open the app.

  2. Select Forgot Password

    • On the login screen, tap Log In, then Forgot your Password?

      • Forgot your password on the Login screen

    • If you are currently logged in, tap Settings (typically your initials) in the upper right, then select Log Out:

  3. Enter Your Account Email

    • Type in the email address associated with your VRIFY account.

  4. Submit Your Request

    • Tap Submit to send the password reset request.

      • Logout button

  5. Check Your Email

    • Look for an email from VRIFY with the subject Password Reset Request.

    • If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder.

  6. Open the Reset Link

    • In the email, tap Reset Password or click the URL provided.

    • You will be redirected to your default browser.

  7. Create and Confirm New Password

    • Enter your new password, then enter it again to confirm it matches.

    • Note: Your password should be at least 8 characters, and contain at least 1 uppercase and lowercase letter, a number, and a special character (?#@%, etc)

  8. Save Your New Password

    • Tap Reset to finish.


Notes

  • Changing your password in the VRIFY app automatically changes it for the web version as well.

  • If you sign in with Apple, Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn (SSO), change your password through that provider instead.
