Overview
Migrating a legacy 3D Presentation creates a new version of that presentation in VRIFY Present. The migration copies your presentation title, slide and section names, slide order, captions, and PDF, image, and video slides.
VRIFY Present lets you build and edit 3D and 360 Slides directly, with more customization options than were previously available. Migration creates a placeholder for each 3D and 360 Slide so you can rebuild them using your available assets.
Both versions of the presentation remain accessible after migration. The legacy version stays in your 3D Presentations list, tagged Legacy, so you can use it as a reference while you rebuild your presentation.
Note: Access settings are not copied from the original. The person who initiates the migration becomes the owner of the new presentation, and General Access defaults to Everyone at your company is an Editor.
Step by Step Instructions
You will see a Legacy label on all presentations that can be migrated.
Open the three-dot menu on the presentation you want to migrate
Select Migrate 3D Presentation:
Review the list of features that will migrate automatically and those that will need to be rebuilt:
Click Continue.
Update the presentation settings: title, General Access level, and permissions.
Click Migrate:
After migration, you can open the new presentation in a new tab. The original presentation stays open for reference and remains in your 3D Presentations list.
Rebuild 3D and 360 Slides
Open a placeholder slide.
Click Select Asset to add an asset and begin rebuilding.
Migrated 3D Presentations with outstanding placeholders are tagged Rebuild 3D/360 in the presentations list. The tag will clear when an asset is added to each placeholder.
