Understanding File Statuses

Learn how file statuses work in VRIFY, what each status means, and where to review them in VRIFY Prepare.

Overview

File statuses indicate where each file sits in the validation, processing, and publishing workflow. You can see file statuses in the Files uploader after uploading data.

If you are using VRIFY Prepare to validate and publish data, statuses also appear in two additional locations within the product.


File Statuses Explained

Status

Description

Ready for Processing

The default status for newly uploaded files that haven’t been validated, processed, and published.

Processing

The file is being validated and checked for data quality.

Action Required

Action Required notification

The file needs attention. For example, it may be missing data or contain formatting issues. This status triggers a red "i" icon in the folder tree for quick identification.

Accepted

The file is published and available for use in VRIFY Present.


Reviewing File Statuses in VRIFY Prepare

If you are using VRIFY Prepare to validate, process, and publish your data, you can review file statuses in two additional areas.

In each data folder, the left sidebar displays files grouped by status. Select a status to filter the file list.

The Step Details sidebar on the right shows the status of the file currently selected in your workspace:
