Overview

This article explains the four file statuses used in the Files uploader. These statuses help users understand where each file sits in the review workflow and whether any action is needed.

File Statuses Explained

Four file statuses
  • Pending Review:

    • The default status for newly uploaded files that haven’t been reviewed or prepped yet. Some files may stay in this state indefinitely — for example, drill certificates not used in 3D Presentations.

  • Processing:

    • The file is being checked and cleaned for use.

  • Action Required:

    • The file needs attention. For example, it may be missing data or contain formatting issues. This status triggers a red "i" icon in the folder tree for quick identification:

      • Action Required notification
  • Accepted:

    • The file has been reviewed and is ready to use. No further action is needed.
