VRIFY Prepare is a data preparation workspace where you map, validate, and publish your geoscience data before it becomes available in VRIFY Present.

You can access it from the left panel in VRIFY under Data.

The interface has three main areas:

The workspace is drag-to-start. Drag a supported file from the Data Room sidebar into the workspace to begin. VRIFY automatically adds the processing steps for that file type. Select a step to open the Step Details panel, where you review inputs, configure settings, and continue the workflow. When the required steps are complete, publish the data to make it available in VRIFY Present.

The Data Room sidebar and Step Details panel can be opened and closed independently.

The Data Room sidebar lists the folders containing data for the selected asset.

Select a folder to view its files. Hover over a folder name to see the file types supported by its processing workflow. Files that are already in the workspace are visually identified in the file list.

To begin processing, drag a supported file from the folder into the workspace.

You can open the Files uploader from several locations in the interface:

To act on several files, select them in the list. The selection bar lets you delete, move, or download the selection.

Files with an Accepted status cannot be moved or deleted. If a selection includes both Accepted and editable files, VRIFY Prepare leaves the Accepted files out of the action.

Click the three-dot menu beside a folder name to:

Deleting a file moves it to Deleted Files. It is not removed immediately.

Select Undo in the confirmation message to restore a file right away. You can also open the Deleted folder at the bottom of the Data Room sidebar to review and restore deleted files.

Files remain in Deleted Files for 60 days. After that, they are permanently deleted.

Drag a supported file into the workspace to start its workflow. VRIFY Prepare adds the steps required for that data type. Depending on the file, these can include confirming a tag or sample type, setting parameters, mapping fields, validating, and publishing.

Select a step to open it in the Step Details panel. The status on each step shows whether it is pending, running, complete, or needs attention.

The Step Details panel opens when you select a step in the workspace. Use it to review file information, configure the step, run or repeat validation, review issues, and publish completed data.

If a file needs to be corrected and uploaded again, use the re-upload action in the panel.
