Working With DORA 1.0 Experiments After the DORA 2.0 Release

Learn how existing DORA 1.0 experiments behave after the release of DORA 2.0, including how to access, edit, and duplicate older experiments.

Updated this week

Overview

With the release of DORA 2.0, all new experiments are created using the updated four-step workflow.

Existing DORA 1.0 experiments remain available, and you can continue to open and edit them as needed. However, some behaviours change when duplicating older experiments or creating new ones.

New Experiments in DORA 2.0

All new experiments are created in DORA 2.0.

In the DORA list view, experiments created in DORA 1.0 include a label while experiments created in DORA 2.0 do not, helping you quickly identify which experiments use the updated workflow.

Working With Existing DORA 1.0 Experiments

You can still open and edit existing DORA 1.0 experiments.

These experiments remain accessible and will continue to function as they did previously. You can also compare existing, completed DORA 1.0 experiments on a DORA 2.0 Prediction Map.

Duplicating a DORA 1.0 Experiment

If you duplicate a DORA 1.0 experiment, the duplicate will open in DORA 2.0.

The original experiment parameters are pre-selected in the duplicate experiment, but you must still move through the four workflow steps to complete the prediction.

Note that predictions generated in DORA 2.0 may differ slightly from those produced in DORA 1.0. This is expected behaviour, as the underlying model has been improved and optimized, which can lead to small changes in prediction outputs.
