Overview
Before Geology data can be added to a 3D Slide in VRIFY Present, it must first pass validation and data quality checks in VRIFY Prepare.
Geology data is organized into four subfolders, each with its own workflow. 2D Geological & Structural Mapping follows a validation and data quality workflow. 3D Objects follows a workflow that includes validation, conversion, and data quality steps. Geology Photos and Geology PDFs & Sections are published directly without validation.
Prepare and Upload Data
Upload and sort your files into the correct subfolders in Files before starting this workflow.

Step by Step Instructions
2D Geological & Structural Mapping
Select Geology from the left sidebar.
Drag the file into the workspace.
Note: VRIFY Prepare automatically adds Validate and Data Quality steps to the workspace.
Click the Validate step to open the Step Details sidebar on the right.
Click Validate All Files.
In the Start Workflow modal, confirm the number of files queued, then click Validate All Files.
Note: The Validate step and Data Quality step run at the same time.
Once both steps show Succeeded, click the Data Quality step to open the right sidebar and review the results.
Publish Files
If no issues are found, or only non-blocking issues are present, click Publish File.
Note: If issues are found, correct the data and re-upload the file through the Files uploader before publishing.
Confirm Data is Available in VRIFY Present
After publishing, most files are available immediately with a status of Accepted. Large files can take an hour or more. See Understanding File Statuses.
Once the file status shows Accepted, open a 3D Slide in edit mode in VRIFY Present and open the Add Objects & Assets panel. The data will appear under the corresponding folder.
3D Objects
Select Geology from the left sidebar.
Drag the file into the workspace.
Note: VRIFY Prepare automatically adds Validate, Convert, and Data Quality steps to the workspace.
Click the Validate step to open the right sidebar.
Click Validate All Files.
In the Start Workflow modal, confirm the number of files queued, then click Validate All Files.
Note: Once validation is complete, the Convert step runs automatically, converting your file to a usable format. The Data Quality step runs after conversion is complete.
Once all steps show Succeeded, click the Data Quality step to open the right sidebar and review the results.
Publish Files
If no issues are found, or only non-blocking issues are present, click Publish File.
Note: If issues are found, correct the data and re-upload the file through the Files uploader before publishing.

Select Geology from the left sidebar.
Drag the file into the workspace.
Note: VRIFY Prepare automatically adds a Submit step to the workspace.
Click the Submit step to open the right sidebar.
Click Submit All Files.
Note: A notification will appear confirming that processing is running in the background.
Confirm Data is Available in VRIFY Present
After submitting, most files are available immediately with a status of Accepted. Large files can take an hour or more. See Understanding File Statuses.
Once the file status shows Accepted, open a 3D Slide in edit mode in VRIFY Present and open the Add Objects & Assets panel. The data will appear under the corresponding folder.
