Overview
When hosting a meeting in the VRIFY app, you can pass host controls to another iPad. This allows multiple presenters to take turns leading different parts of the 3D Presentation Deck, keeping your presentation collaborative.
Host controls include the ability to change slides, interact with 3D models and 360° views, and annotate directly on the 3D Presentation Deck.
Note: Both hosts and co-hosts must be using the VRIFY app on an iPad in order to pass host control.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Start a Meeting.
Follow the steps to share a 3D Presentation with nearby iPads, or start an online meeting for nearby and remote participants.
Open Participants View
In the meeting, tap Invite in the upper right to bring up the Participants View.
Pass Control
Tap the participant’s icon you want to give control to.
Their icon will display a blue circle and the label Presenting to indicate they now have control.
Take Back Host Control
Tap Participants in the upper right again.
Tap your own icon to regain host access.
Your icon will then show a blue circle and the label Presenting, confirming you are the active presenter.
Note that only one iPad can hold host controls at a time.
Notes
Presenters can switch control as often as needed.
Make sure all devices stay connected to Wi-Fi to avoid dropouts during the control handoff.
