Overview
If you're having trouble locating nearby iPads when hosting a meeting, first confirm that the VRIFY App is open on all devices. Then, check that Local Network access is enabled for the VRIFY App.
This setting allows nearby iPads to connect and share 3D Presentations without relying on an internet connection, ideal for conference floors and remote locations with limited connectivity.
If you didn’t allow Local Network access when first installing the app, you’ll need to turn it on manually in your iPad settings.
Step by Step Instructions
To enable Local Network access:
Open Settings
Go to Privacy & Security
Tap Local Network
Find the VRIFY App
Look for the VRIFY logo in the list of apps.
Enable the Toggle
Force Close and Reopen App
Swipe up to force close the VRIFY App, then reopen it to apply the new setting.
