There are two ways to reorder slides in a 3D Presentation: drag thumbnails directly in the side panel, or open the Sort Slides panel to see all slides at once and drag them from there. Changes save automatically in both methods.

In the Slides panel on the left, click and hold the slide thumbnail you want to move.

Drag the slide up or down to its new position:

Note: While dragging, scroll up or down in the panel to move quickly through a long presentation.

The Sort Slides panel displays all slides in a grid, which makes it easier to reorder slides across a long presentation.

Click the Sort Slides icon (grid icon) in the bottom-left toolbar:

Drag any slide thumbnail to its new position. 

Click the X in the top right of the panel to return to your presentation.
