Understanding Error Messages in VRIFY Prepare

Learn how error severity levels in VRIFY Prepare affect your data during validation and what will be available in VRIFY Present after publishing.

Overview

Before you publish your data in VRIFY Prepare, the platform runs a validation and data quality check on each file. If issues are found, Prepare flags them using one of five severity levels. The severity level tells you whether you can proceed to publish your data and make it available in VRIFY Present, and whether your data will be modified.

A description of the issue is included to help you understand what steps to take, if any. Click the error message to open additional information:

For tabular data (Drilling and Surface Geochemistry, excluding Block Models), you can click the error message to filter the affected data in the workspace, then click into a cell to edit it and save changes directly in VRIFY Prepare:

Additional Notes

  • A Row(s) Rejected result means affected records will not be available in VRIFY Present. Select the error message to filter which rows were dropped to confirm the remaining data is complete enough to use.

  • An Auto-Corrected result allows publishing, but the value Prepare substituted may differ from your source data. Review the change before using data in a 3D Presentation.

  • Warning and Info messages do not require action before publishing.
