Overview
Use the VRIFY app to share a 3D Presentation Deck during remote or hybrid meetings. Participants can join from an iPad or web browser using a meeting code, making it easy to include both in-room and remote attendees.
This setup is recommended when not everyone is in the same room. A stable internet connection is required for you (the host) and all participants to ensure a smooth meeting experience.
As the host, you control the presentation experience, including 3D models, 360° imagery, and annotations, while participants follow along in sync.
Preparation
Before starting a meeting, make sure your iPad is prepped in advance to avoid interruptions during your presentation:
Update the VRIFY app to the latest version
Ensure your iPad is running the latest version of iOS
Download the 3D Presentation Deck you plan to share
Check for any recent updates to the 3D Presentation Deck and re-download
Click through the 3D Presentation Deck to pre-load all 3D and 360 slides to ensure a smooth meeting experience
Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow the instructions to invite remote participants (joining from the app or the web) to an online meeting:
Connect to the Internet
To confirm that your internet connection is stable, check that you can stream videos easily on platforms such as LinkedIn or YouTube.
Open the VRIFY App on the host iPad
Tap the VRIFY icon on your iPad to open the app.
Select the 3D Presentation Deck
Tap the 3D Presentation Deck you want to present.
Select Invite
Tap Invite in the upper right.
Start Online Meeting
Tap Connect via Internet.
Tap Proceed.
⚠️ Any previously connected iPads will automatically join the online meeting if the iPad is connected to the internet. If for any reason they are dropped, you can provide them with the meeting code to rejoin.
Share the Meeting Code
Once the meeting is online, a code will appear.
Share this code with online participants to join, based on their device:
iPad Participants:
Tap Join Meeting in the VRIFY app and enter the meeting code.
Web Participants:
Go to VRIFY.com in a browser
Click Join Meeting and enter the code.
You are now ready to present the 3D Presentation Deck. To end the meeting and disconnect participants, tap the X in the upper left, then select End Meeting.
Notes
A strong Wi-Fi connection for all participants is important to ensure viewers stay in sync during remote meetings.
Always download and test your 3D Presentation Deck before the meeting to reduce lag or technical issues during the live meeting.
