Overview
Before Geophysics data can be added to a 3D Slide in VRIFY Present, it must first be processed in VRIFY Prepare.
Magnetotellurics, Magnetics, Gravity, Electromagnetics, DC/IP, and Radiometrics data pass through a validation and data quality workflow. When you add one of these files to the workspace, VRIFY Prepare automatically adds a Validate step and a Data Quality step in sequence. To complete processing, you run both steps, review the results, and publish the file.
Geophysics Photos and Geophysics Sections follow a simpler workflow, in which files are published directly without validation.
Prepare and Upload Data
Upload and sort your files into the correct subfolders in Files before starting this workflow. See Upload Files to VRIFY.

Step by Step Instructions
Magnetotellurics, Magnetics, Gravity, Electromagnetics, DC/IP, Radiometrics
Select Geophysics from the left sidebar.
Drag the file into the workspace.
Note: VRIFY Prepare automatically adds Validate and Data Quality steps to the workspace.
Click the Validate step to open the Step Details sidebar on the right.
Click Validate All Files.
In the Start Workflow modal, confirm the number of files queued, then click Validate All Files.
Note: A notification will appear confirming that mapping is running in the background. The Validate step and Data Quality step run at the same time.
Once both steps show Succeeded, click the Data Quality step to open the Step Details panel.
Publish Data
If no issues are found, or only non-blocking issues are present, click Publish File.
Note: If issues are found, correct the data and re-upload the file through the Files uploader before publishing.
Confirm Data is Available in VRIFY Present
After publishing, most files are available immediately with a status of Accepted. Large files can take an hour or more. See Understanding File Statuses.
Once the file status shows Accepted, open a 3D Slide in edit mode in VRIFY Present and open the Add Objects & Assets panel. The data will appear under the corresponding folder.
Geophysics Photos and Geophysics Sections
Select Geophysics from the left sidebar.
Drag the file into the workspace.
Note: VRIFY Prepare automatically adds a Submit step to the workspace.
Click the Submit step to open the right sidebar.
Click Submit All Files.
Note: A notification will appear confirming that processing is running in the background.
Confirm Data is Available in VRIFY Present
After submitting, most files are available immediately with a status of Accepted. Large files can take an hour or more. See Understanding File Statuses.
Once the file status shows Accepted, open a 3D Slide in edit mode in VRIFY Present and open the Add Objects & Assets panel. The data will appear under the corresponding folder.
