DORA Release Notes | Aug 4, 2026

Uncertainty measures how well-supported each VPS result is by the model. Viewing and understanding uncertainty helps you prioritize targets with confidence.

Two new features bring uncertainty directly into your workflow.

Note: If your prediction was run before this release, the VPS x Uncertainty Filter and Prediction Uncertainty layer will not be available. Return to Step 4 and re-run your prediction to enable this functionality.

New: Visualize Uncertainty

You can now visualize prediction uncertainty directly on the Prediction Map.

The Visualize x Uncertainty filter displays a colour-coded grid that maps each point by its VPS and uncertainty values, giving you additional context for evaluating prospectivity results.

Select and deselect individual cells, or click and drag to select a range, to filter the map by any combination of VPS and uncertainty.

New: Prediction Uncertainty

The Prediction Uncertainty layer is now also available in the 3D Layers List, displaying prediction uncertainty as a spatial gradient across your AOI.

Areas shading toward blue indicate lower uncertainty, while areas shading toward yellow indicate higher uncertainty.
