Keeping your iPad updated is important for both security and compatibility with the VRIFY App. Running the latest version of iOS ensures your device performs smoothly and supports all of VRIFY’s features.

Important: To ensure the best performance when presenting your Deck, always prepare your iPad and VRIFY app in advance, while connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network:

✅ Click through your Deck to pre-load 3D and 360 Slides

This article will help you check for and install the latest iOS version on your iPad.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Plug in your iPad and connect to Wi-Fi

    • Make sure your iPad is charging or fully charged and is connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network.

  2. Unlock your iPad

    • Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to unlock the device.

  3. Open the Settings app

    • Tap the Settings icon (gray gear symbol) on your home screen.

  4. Tap General

    • Scroll down and select General from the list.

  5. Tap Software Update

    • This will check if there is a new iOS version available.

  6. Check for updates

    • If your iPad says "iOS is up to date", no further action is needed.

    • If an update is available, continue to the next step.

  7. Tap "Update Now"

    • Tap to begin the update.

  8. If prompted, tap Download and Install

    • Enter your passcode when asked.

    • Then tap Install Now to start the update.

  9. Follow on-screen prompts

    • Your iPad may restart during the update. Let it complete the process.
