Upload Files to VRIFY

Upload files to VRIFY from your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

Updated this week

Overview

This article walks you through how to upload files to VRIFY using the built-in uploader. You can upload directly from your computer, Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive and assign each file to the appropriate asset folder and subfolder.

Read Files Folder Structure and Upload Requirements for information about preferred and accepted file types.

Upload Preparation

Clear organization can help your files move through review more quickly and make collaboration easier. Some things to keep in mind:

  • You do not need to upload every file type. What you upload depends on what data you have, your workflow, and which product (VRIFY Present or VRIFY Predict) you are using.

  • Use clear and consistent file naming. For example, including terms like “Collar” or “Survey” can speed up processing and reduce manual review

  • Check required fields before uploading. Some data types require specific fields to be included in your files. Before uploading, confirm your files meet these requirements to avoid processing delays.

  • Place files in the most appropriate folder, and use the most specific subfolder available.

  • Review accepted file types to avoid getting an “Incorrect file type” error. Use the preferred format whenever possible.

  • There is currently no limit on file upload size.

  • File names are limited to 255 characters.
