Overview

VRIFY Decks bring your story to life with dynamic 3D models, immersive 360° visuals, and polished corporate content. But creating your deck is just the beginning: what really makes your story shine is how you present it. This guide will walk you through how to use VRIFY’s interactive presentation tools to deliver a confident, compelling presentation.

Different Decks for Different Audiences

Great presentations start with knowing your audience. In this section, we’ll explore common use cases for VRIFY Decks, help you decide what kind of presentation to create, and who you're creating it for.

Of course, your dedicated VRIFY contact is always available to answer questions about creating the perfect Deck for the right audience.

Conference Decks

When attending a mining conference, we recommend creating a few different Decks for different conference scenarios:

  • Presentation Deck: A concise Deck that fits within your presentation timeframe and incorporates your most powerful interactive slides with a few key PDFs.

  • Booth Deck: An interactive-only Deck that grabs the attention of passerby with impactful 3D and 360 content.

  • Investor meeting Deck: A more comprehensive version of your presentation Deck to accommodate any question from investors.

Practice Using Presentation Features

VRIFY’s interactive features are designed to elevate your story in real time. Before you present, practice using these tools so you can deliver your message smoothly and seamlessly.

Annotations

One of VRIFY's most powerful features is the built-in annotation tool. You can use bold colours to highlight key details and draw your audience’s attention to important features on any slide. Your audience won’t see the annotation toolbar while you present — they’ll only see the annotations you draw on the screen.

Presenting from an iPad makes annotations even more effective. With an Apple Pencil, you can draw with precision to highlight key details. When you’re not annotating, the double-tap feature lets you shift seamlessly into hands-free navigation.

💡Tip: If you run into issues with annotations or camera angles while presenting, simply tap or click the slide in the left sidebar to reset it to its original view.

Camera Angles

As you present your 3D and 360 Slides, bring the visuals to life by adjusting the camera angle. Rotate a 3D model to highlight surface features or drill holes, or shift the view in a 360 Slide to give your audience a panoramic perspective of your mining site.

💡Tip: If you run into issues with annotations or camera angles while presenting, simply tap or click the slide in the left sidebar to reset it to its original view.

You can also set up ideal angles ahead of time while editing, so your slides are presentation-ready from the start.

Captions

You can add captions to any slide to provide extra context. While they’re most useful for self-guided Decks, you also have the option to turn them on or off during a live presentation.

Prepare Your iPad

Before presenting, make sure your hardware and software are ready to go in advance, while connected to a reliable internet connection. This preparation helps ensure a smooth, seamless experience for both you and your audience.

Update the VRIFY App

We release updates to keep the app secure, fix bugs, and add new features. While connected to a reliable internet connection, make sure you’re using the latest version before presenting.

Update to the Latest iOS

Apple updates their operating system frequently to improve security and performance, so always ensure that your iPad is running the latest iOS. Updates can take time, so keep your device plugged in while updating.

Download Your Deck(s)

Always download the Deck(s) you plan to present in advance. Click through your 3D and 360 slides to preload them, and confirm that any recent changes have been synced.

Confirm Optimal iPad Settings

Review your iPad settings to ensure everything is optimized for presenting.

How to Present

You’ve built a great Deck, practiced with VRIFY’s interactive tools, and prepped your iPad — now it’s time to present. VRIFY offers a few different ways to share your story live. In this section, we’ll help you choose the option that works best for you.

In-Person Meetings (iPad to iPad)

If you’re presenting to a group in the same room, or in a location with unreliable internet, such as a conference floor or remote site, the best option is to start an In-Person Meeting on your iPad. You can connect up to 8 iPads and hand them out so participants can follow along as you present.

Live Share (Remote or Hybrid)

For remote or hybrid presentations, VRIFY’s Live Share feature is the best option. You can present from a web browser or your iPad, and participants can join from anywhere with a unique meeting code.

Keep in mind that VRIFY Meetings do not include sound or video, so you’ll likely pair Live Share with a conferencing platform like Zoom or Teams for audio and video.

Conferences

At conferences, you have several options for presenting your Deck. If you’re speaking to a large group from a podium, the best approach is to cast your presentation to the big screen using an Apple TV. If that’s not available, connect your iPad directly to the external display using an HDMI cord and dongle.
