Overview

Recording yourself presenting a VRIFY Deck is a powerful way to extend your reach beyond a live meeting. A recording lets you deliver your story consistently and with impact, even when you can’t be there in person.

Use cases include embedding the recording on your website, attaching it to press releases, sharing it on social media, or sending it directly to investors for follow-up.

It’s an easy way to repurpose your presentation and keep your audience engaged long after the live session ends.

Follow the steps below to create a Video Recording from each access point.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Record from Editing a Deck or Previewing a Deck

  1. Select a Deck to Record

    • Log in to VRIFY.com and click on Decks from the left side menu.

  2. Start the Recording Process

    • Click Record from the edit screen, or click Preview and select Record from there

  3. Choose Your Settings

    • Toggle your microphone and webcam on or off

    • Toggle slide captions on or off

      • Tip: If you plan to include audio in your presentation, you may want to captions off.

      • Blur your video background

    • Once you're satisfied with your settings, click Continue

  4. Start Your Recording

    • Note that you can click the Grid icon to that your video fills the screen. Click it again to return to the default view.

    • When you're ready, click Start Recording, then Start to begin your presentation

  5. Stop Your Recording

    • When done, click the recording button again to stop your recording.

    • Your recording will be uploaded to the Recording page.


Record During a Live Share Meeting

  1. Start Your Recording

    • While hosting a VRIFY Live Share meeting, click the Start a Recording button at the bottom of your screen

  2. Stop Your Recording

    • Once you are done, click the red and white Start a recording button to stop the recording

    • Confirm that you want to stop

    • Your recording will be uploaded to the Recording page.


Notes

  • If you don’t see your recording in your Video Recording Management page yet, you may have to wait 3-6 minutes for recordings to process.

  • When a recording has started, if you only see your camera or participants, click on the Grid Icon to view your VRIFY Deck instead.
