Add Highlights to a 3D Object [Beta]

Learn how to add and customize glowing highlights on 3D Objects in a 3D Slide.

Overview

Highlights add a glowing outline to a 3D Object so it stands out on a 3D Slide. Use them to draw attention to specific areas of your model while presenting.

Note: This article applies to VRIFY Present Beta, which includes features not available in VRIFY Present Legacy. View legacy instructions at Building 3D Presentations.

Step by Step Instructions

Add a Highlight to a 3D Object

  1. In the Object Settings panel, select the 3D Object you want to highlight:

    Click object name
  2. In the Properties panel, select Highlight Object. The object displays a glowing outline in the currently selected highlight colour:

💡Tip: To centre the object on the slide, right-click the object name in the Object Settings panel and select Focus.


Customize Highlights

  1. Select Highlight Settings in the centre toolbar:

  2. Adjust any of the following:

    • Colour: The colour of the highlight outline

    • Spread: How far the glow extends from the object's edge

    • Intensity: The brightness of the glow

  3. Click Apply to save your changes.

Note: If you apply a highlight to multiple 3D Objects on the same slide, all highlighted objects share the same formatting.


Additional Notes

  • Object customization saves automatically. To save your initial slide view, click Save Changes in the upper right when you are finished editing.

  • Only files with Accepted status appear in the Objects & Files panel when building a 3D Slide. If an object or file is missing, check its status on the Files page. Learn more in Understanding File Statuses.
