There are a few important steps you can take to ensure your iPads are set up properly before heading into a meeting or podium presentation. But first — make sure you’ve purchased the right iPads for your team.

Update Software
Update the VRIFY App to the latest version.
If an update is available, you’ll see an Update button in the App Store. Learn more.
Update your iPad’s iOS software to the latest version.
Optimize Settings
Lock screens in landscape mode.
Open Control Centre (swipe down from the top-right corner)
Turn your iPad in landscape mode, then turn Rotation Lock on.
Lower the brightness on the host iPad to conserve battery.

Adjust the brightness.
Set up Auto-Lock.
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness
Set Auto-Lock to Never to prevent the screen from going to sleep.
Set the same passcode for all iPads.
Go to Settings, then depending on your iPad model, tap either Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode.

Purchase a data plan for each iPad to avoid the stress of unreliable Wi-Fi.

✅ Click through the Deck to pre-load the 3D and 360 Slides to ensure smooth transitions

A strong Wi-Fi connection is recommended to ensure participants stay in sync during remote meetings.

If you are presenting at a podium to an external display, you have two options:
Connect your iPad using an HDMI cable with an iPad-compatible adaptor
Turn off screen orientation lock to make it easier to adjust your iPad when connected to a podium setup.
Best Practices
Test all iPads before you present to ensure everything is updated and functioning.
Carry at least one backup adapter and HDMI cable.
Assign a team member as your tech lead to handle setup and troubleshooting.
