Start a Live Share Meeting (Present a Deck) from the Web

Learn how to present your Deck from your browser with remote participants.

Updated this week

Overview

You can start a Live Share meeting directly from the VRIFY web platform in two different ways — from the Meetings options in the left side panel or from within a Deck. Both allow you to share a unique meeting link or code so participants can follow along in their browser during a video conference.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Path 1: From the Meetings Option

  1. Log in to VRIFY

  2. Open the Meetings Tab

    • Click Meetings in the left side panel.

  3. Start a Live Share Meeting

    • Click Start Live Share.

  4. Select a Deck

    • Choose the Deck you want to present from the drop-down menu.

  5. Adjust Slide Captions (Optional)

    • Toggle Slide Captions on or off as desired.

  6. Copy the Meeting Code

    • Copy the Live Share meeting link or code. You can paste this into the chat of your video conferencing tool (e.g., Zoom, Teams) so participants can follow along in their browser.

  7. Present Your Deck

    • Once participants have joined, begin presenting your Deck.

  8. End the Meeting

    • Click the red telephone icon to end the Live Share.

  5. Copy the Meeting Code

    • Copy the Live Share meeting link or code. You can paste this into the chat of your video conferencing tool (e.g., Zoom, Teams) so participants can follow along in their browser.

  6. Present Your Deck

  7. End the Meeting

Best Practices

  • Sharing the Live Share link or Meeting Code instead of simply sharing your screen gives participants a cleaner, more high-resolution view of your Deck without distracting on-screen menus or controls.

  • Continue to use your video conferencing software for audio and chat.
