Overview
A 3D Slide lets you add objects from your uploaded data to build a 3D presentation view. You choose which objects to add — topography, drillholes, 2D lines, and more — how they're styled, and what the initial slide view shows when the slide loads.

Step by Step Instructions
Note: Only files with Accepted status appear in the Asset List when building a 3D Slide. If an object is missing, check its status on the Files page. Learn more about your File Status.
Create a new 3D Slide
Click + Add Slide in the top-left corner.
Select 3D.
Select the asset you want to use on this slide.
Click Continue.
The 3D slide loads with topography and property boundaries added automatically. The slide will appear in the slide panel on the left.
Add objects to your 3D Slide
To add data objects to your 3D slide, click Edit 3D Slide in the top right. Two panels appear:
Add Objects & Files panel (top left) — all processed files and available objects for your selected asset
Object Settings panel (top right) — all objects currently added to the 3D slide
To add a data object to your 3D slide:
In the Add Objects & Files panel, open a folder.
Click the + icon next to the object you want to add.
The object appears in the Object Settings panel and loads into the 3D Slide. Repeat for each object you want to include.
Show or Hide Layers
Click the eye icon next to each layer to show or hide it:
Grey eye with slash = layer hidden

White eye with no slash = layer visible

In edit mode, these icons will be beside each object in the Object Settings panel.
In view and present mode, you can access the layers using the 3D Layers list located in the lower right-hand side of the slide ![]()
Navigate in the 3D Slide
Using a mouse:
Rotate: Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag to spin the model.
Zoom: Scroll with your mouse wheel to zoom in or out.
Pan: Click and hold the right mouse button, then drag to move the model side-to-side or up and down.
You can also use the compass to adjust the viewpoint when you are in edit mode.
3D Slide objects
The following data objects are available to add to a 3D Slide in VRIFY Present. Click an object's title in the Object Settings panel to open its configuration panel.
Topography | Displays terrain across your property. Style options include contours, gradients, and hatch patterns. |
Property Boundaries | Shows your property boundaries overlaid on the topography. |
Drillholes | Displays drilling data in 3D. Configure collars, traces, assays, lithology, and highlights, and filter drillholes by date. |
Geochemistry | Displays geochemical sample data. Create bins and adjust cylinder dimensions and lighting. |
Geophysics | Displays geophysical raster data layered over the topography. Apply colour gradients and layer multiple surveys. |
Block models | Displays block model data. Multi-partition models are consolidated into a single import panel. |
2D Images | |
2D Lines | |
3D Objects | Place 3D models into your 3D Slide. Georeferenced (static) objects are fixed in space; non-georeferenced objects are movable and can be repositioned. |
Pit Shells | |

3D Slide Tools and Features
3D slides include a set of tools and features to control how your 3D Slide looks and how viewers interact with it. Each is independent and can be used alongside any data objects in the 3D Slide.
Feature | Description |
Labels | |
Legends | |
X-Ray Mode | Makes objects visible even when they are positioned behind terrain or other objects in the 3D Slide. |
Highlight | Applies a glow effect to draw attention to a specific object in the 3D Slide. |
Compass | |
Scale Bar | Appears automatically in the 3D Slide and adjusts dynamically. |
Additional Notes
Add only the objects needed to support your message. Too many visible layers reduce clarity.
Duplicate a slide to reuse its layout and objects for similar views.
Preview your 3D Slide in Present mode before sharing to confirm the camera position and object visibility.
Quickly insert a 3D Slide into another presentation by clicking on the three-dot menu on the thumbnail and select Export to another 3D Presentation
