For On-Site Podium Presentations

Presenting with an iPad

  • Podiums will be equipped with an HDMI cable.

  • You will also need an HDMI-to-iPad compatible adaptor (see attachment at bottom of this page). Your VRIFY support rep will supply one, or you can bring your own.

  • Please meet our VRIFY representative in the Speaker Ready Room a minimum of 15 minutes ahead of your presentation.

  • A VRIFY rep will accompany you to the podium to plug in the iPad.

We will have extra iPads available, which will be set up optimally for presentations and will have your VRIFY deck downloaded.

If you prefer to use your own iPad, please complete the following steps:

  • Is your VRIFY deck downloaded? In the VRIFY app, tap the download button. We recommend doing this the night before.

  • Ensure you have a strong WIFI connection when downloading the deck. A poor connection can result in your deck not downloading properly.

  • Once downloaded, three dots will appear in place of the download button.

  • Are you running iOS software version 16? Please ensure your iPad is up-to-date with the lates iOS version. An iPad update can several minutes to an hours, so ensure this is done the night before.

  • Is your VRIFY app updated to the latest version? If you need to update the VRIFY app you’ll see an ‘Update’ icon beside the app in the App Store.

  • Is your iPad connected to a secure Wi-Fi and/or data network? If your deck has been downloaded, you do not need an internet connection to present. It is still recommended to have internet access in case of any last minute edits to your deck.

Once you’re ready to start presenting:

  • A VRIFY rep will accompany you to the podium to plug the iPad in.

  • If you would prefer to plug the iPad in yourself:

    • Open the VRIFY app

    • Ensure you are logged in

    • At the podium, plug your iPad into the HDMI cable with an HDMI-to-iPad compatible dongle (see attachment at bottom of this page).

    • Open the deck you wish to present

  • When you’re done presenting, unplug the HDMI adapter.

  • If you've borrowed an adapter from the VRIFY support representative, please return it at this time.

For On-Site Investor Meetings

We recommend using VRIFY Meetings to take your on-site investor meetings up a notch.

Recent updates to the VRIFY Meetings feature mean you no longer need a WIFI connection to share your deck in-person. We’ve made it easier than ever to bring your interactive VRIFY content into meetings.

Check out our step-by-step instructions for starting a meeting with VRIFY Meetings.
