Overview
You can join a VRIFY meeting from your iPad whether you’re logged into the app or not. There are two ways to join:
Preparation
Before joining a meeting, to ensure a smooth experience:
Update the VRIFY app to the latest version
Ensure you are running the latest version of iOS
Toggle WiFi on (Settings > Wi-Fi > Slide right)
Enable Local Network Access for the VRIFY app
Optional: Tap Discoverable as… at the bottom of the screen to change your display name. This helps the meeting host identify and add you more easily.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Connect Your iPad to the Nearby Host iPad
Open the VRIFY App
Tap the VRIFY icon on your iPad to open the app.
The app must be open so that the host can locate your device.
Troubleshoot Connection Issues
If the host is having trouble connecting your iPad, try these troubleshooting steps.
Join the Meeting
After connecting, the 3D Presentation Deck will load on your screen automatically.
To leave the meeting, tap the Back arrow in the upper left corner of the screen, then confirm that you want to leave. If you need to re-join, the host will have to connect you again.
⚠️ If the host switches to an online meeting after you've connected your iPad to the meeting, make sure your internet connection is stable, or you will lose connection.

Connect to the Internet
To confirm that your internet connection is stable, check that you can stream videos easily on platforms such as LinkedIn or YouTube.
Open the VRIFY App
Tap the VRIFY icon on your iPad to open the app.
Join the Meeting
If you’re logged into a VRIFY account:
Tap Join Meeting in the upper right.
If you’re not logged into a VRIFY account:
Tap Join Meeting in the middle of the screen.
Enter the Code
Type the five-digit code provided by the host.
Confirm
Tap Join to enter the meeting.
To leave the meeting, simply tap the Back arrow in the upper left corner of the screen. You can re-join at any time using the same code.
