Overview
Use the VRIFY app to present and share decks across multiple iPads during in-person meetings. This meeting type is recommended for investor meetings or team presentations when you want to keep everyone engaged or when you have an unreliable internet connection.
One iPad acts as the host, leading the presentation with the ability to control slides, 3D models, 360° views, and annotations, while the others follow along on their own iPads.
Preparation
Before your meeting, and while connected to a reliable internet connection, follow these steps to ensure a smooth in-person presentation:
Set a Passcode on Each iPad
A passcode protects your content when handing iPads to others.
If no passcode is set, you’ll be required to re-authenticate your VRIFY login after exiting a meeting.
Update the VRIFY App
Make sure all iPads have the latest version of the VRIFY app installed.
Log In to the VRIFY App
Ensure you are logged in on each device before entering your meeting space.
Download the Deck(s) on all iPads
From the VRIFY app homepage, tap the Download Icon on each deck you plan to present.
It’s recommended that each iPad (host and participants) have the same deck downloaded in advance.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Once you’re ready to present and all iPads are prepped:
Turn on Wi-Fi (but don’t connect to a network)
Wi-Fi must be enabled for iPads to discover each other, even when there is no internet connection.
Open the VRIFY App on all iPads
From the Host iPad
Select the deck you want to present
Tap the In-Person Meeting button when prompted
Invite Participant iPads
From the Host iPad, tap Invite (top right of the host iPad screen)
Ensure the VRIFY App is open on the participant's iPads.
You’ll see the names of the nearby iPads and select
On the host iPad, select the iPads you want to add
If you do not see iPads you wish to add, see: Troubleshooting in-person meetings
Begin the Presentation
Once connected, participant iPads will follow along with the host.
Only the host sees the controls and can annotate or move through slides.
Tips/Best Practices
You can connect up to 8 iPads for participants to follow along in sync with the host.
Ensure all iPads are fully charged before the meeting — switching devices mid-meeting breaks the flow.
Do a quick dry-run before your actual meeting to confirm everything works as expected.
