Overview
Online meetings on iPad connect the host and participants over the internet, so every iPad needs Wi-Fi turned on and a stable internet connection. The VRIFY app must also stay open on the screen of each participant’s iPad. If you cannot host or join an online meeting, complete the basic checks first. Issues can be caused by an unstable connection, an incorrect meeting code, or the app moving to the background.
If you are still having issues, review these steps for hosts and participants:
Note: These steps apply to VRIFY app version 5.7.0 and later. See How to Update the VRIFY App. |
Basic Checks for Online Meetings
Complete these on every iPad in the meeting:
Update the VRIFY app and your iPad to the latest versions. See Update the VRIFY App and Update Your iPad to the Latest iOS.
Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to a stable internet network. Your connection is stable if you can load a webpage or play a video on a site such as YouTube or LinkedIn without delays.
Keep the VRIFY app open on the screen of participant iPads. If a participant switches to another app or locks the iPad, the app removes them from the meeting automatically.
