How to Favourite Devices for In-Person Meetings on iPad (VRIFY App 5.7.0)

Learn how to favourite devices to find them faster in in-person meetings.

Overview

Favouriting a device moves it to the top of the device list when you add participants to an in-person meeting. This helps when several hosts share a booth, such as at a conference. Each host favourites the iPads they regularly use, so they can start a meeting without searching for the right devices.

Note: This feature is only available in the VRIFY app version 5.7.0 and later. See How to Update the VRIFY App.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Start an In-Person meeting.

  2. Find the device in the list of nearby guests or connected participants.

  3. Tap the star at the top-left corner of the participant icon.

The star fills in when the device is favourited. To remove a favourite, tap the star again.

Additional Notes

  • Favourites are saved on your device only and don’t sync to other devices or hosts. If you host from a different iPad, you need to favourite your devices again.

  • Devices appear in this order on the Participants modal: you (the host), your favourites, then other devices.
