Overview
Double tapping on the barrel of your Apple Pencil allows you to proceed to the next slide while presenting your VRIFY Deck.
If the default double tap settings are too sensitive or causing unintentional actions while presenting, you can adjust the Apple Pencil settings on your iPad.
Change the Tap Speed: This can make the feature easier or harder to activate by setting a speed that works with your preferences.
Turn Off Double Tap: This completely disables the double tap feature for your Apple Pencil, meaning to navigate to the next slide while presenting you must do so from your iPad.
Follow the steps below for each of the setting adjustments.
Step-by-step Instructions
Note: Your Apple Pencil may need to be connected to your iPad for these options to be displayed in the Settings app.
Change Tap Speed
On your iPad, open the Settings app.
Tap Accessibility from the left side menu.
Select Apple Pencil.
Select Default, Slower, or Slowest to adjust the double tap speed:
Done!
Turn Off Double Tap
To disable double-tap for your Apple Pencil on your iPad, follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Tap Apple Pencil from the left side menu.
Select on Double Tap from the Actions section.
Tap Off.
Done!
