Set Access Permissions for 3D Presentations

Learn how to set your 3D Presentation as Public, Private, or Secure.

Updated yesterday

Overview

Secure and Private Presentations let you control access by setting specific permissions, ensuring that only the intended audience, whether inside or outside your company, can view your content.

Three Access Permissions

You can choose between three access permissions when creating a 3D Presentation:

3D Presentation Type

Company Admins

External Viewers

Embeds

Public

All Company Admins can view and make edits.

Anyone with a meeting link or direct link can view.

✅ Can be embedded on a company website and viewed by anyone.

Private

All Company Admins can view and make edits.

Only viewable with a Secure Link.

❌ Cannot be embedded. Will only be viewable to Company Admins.

Secure

Only visible to Company Admins who have been granted View & Edit access.

Only viewable with a Secure Link or if viewer has been added as View-Only user.

❌ Cannot be embedded. Will only be viewable to View-Only users or users with a Secure Link.

What is a Secure Link?

Secure Links are different from Secure 3D Presentations.

A Secure Link is a special URL that Company Admins can generate to give specific external users access to a Private or Secure 3D Presentation.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open 3D Presentation Settings

    • Navigate to the Presentation you want to edit.

    • Click the 3-dot menu beside the Presentation’s title.

    • Select Edit 3D Presentation Settings.

  2. Adjust Access Permission

  3. Save Your Changes

    • Click Update to apply the new access settings.

Note: When you change the access permission of a 3D Presentation to Secure, only you will have editing and viewing permissions by default. To grant access to others, you must manually add additional Company Admins and/or the VRIFY Team.

Notes

  • By default, all new 3D Presentations are created with the Private access setting. This means only your Company Admins can view the Deck until you update the permissions.

  • In the Manage Access settings, granting access to the VRIFY team will grant viewing and editing permissions to your designated Customer Success Manager and Implementation Specialist.
