Before Getting Started

Before starting, whoever will be meeting with investors needs to sync their calendar with VRIFY Meetings. If you will be taking the meetings, your calendar will need to be synced with VRIFY Meetings.

Step 5a of the Add a "Book a meeting" button to your deck steps below will guide you through syncing your calendar if you haven't already, or check out this article for the expedited explanation.

Step-by-step Instructions:

Add a "Book a meeting" button to your deck

Follow these steps to add a "Book a meeting" button to the left navigation menu of your investor deck:

  1. Log into VRIFY.com and click Admin from the top navigation menu.

  2. From the left navigation bar, click Decks.

  3. On the deck you want to edit, click the three dot options menu: •••

  4. Click Edit, and the Edit Deck pop-up will appear.

  5. Toggle on the option called Allow Investors to book meetings with my company from this deck.

    1. If you haven't synced your calendar yet, you can click the Set up this Feature button to go through the steps to sync your calendar, or continue the next steps and sync your calendar after. Once synced, continue to step 6.

  6. A drop-down menu will appear below the option once toggled on. In the drop-down menu, select yourself or a colleague who will be accepting the meetings.

    1. If there is someone missing from this drop-down list, they likely have not yet synced their calendar and will need to follow the steps for allowing investors to book meetings directly with them.

  7. Click Update to save your changes.

  8. Investors will now see a button on the deck at the top of the navigation side bar. You can see this in action by clicking Preview after making the changes above

Add an interactive booking slide to your deck

Follow these steps to add an interactive "Book a meeting" slide to your deck:

  1. Log into VRIFY.com and click Admin from the top navigation menu.

  2. From the left navigation bar, click Decks.

  3. Click on the deck you want to add the slide to.

  4. On the top right of the screen, click Create Slide.

  5. From the Slide Types, click Meeting.

  6. Type in a Slide Title, such as "Book a meeting with us".

    1. The Slide Title will be displayed in the left slide navigation bar.

  7. In the drop-down menu, select yourself or a colleague who will be accepting the meetings. Their name will be displayed on the slide, and all meetings booked through this slide will be with this person.

    1. If there is someone missing from this drop-down list, they likely have not yet synced their calendar and will need to follow the steps for allowing investors to book meetings directly with them.

  8. Click the Create button to save.

  9. Your audience will now be able to Book a Meeting directly through this slide in your deck.

    1. The slide will automatically be placed directly below the slide thumbnail you had previously selected. Move the slide where it makes the most sense in your deck's flow. Learn how to edit the order of slides here.

Best Practices

  • Using both options outlined above will allow investors to easily book a meeting with you.

  • When creating the "Book a meeting" button or adding the interactive slide, select the best person for the investor to book a meeting with. This is usually you or a colleague.
