Playbook: Creating engaging videos of your VRIFY content for social media
Updated over a week ago

Creating videos of your VRIFY content to share on your social media helps increase investor awareness and engagement of your content.

Here are some advantages on sharing videos of your VRIFY content on social media:

  • Social videos generate 1200% more shares than text and image content combined

  • When people in your network like, share or comment on your content, it gains increased visibility

  • You can now provide investors with a better understanding of your projects by including your own audio commentary

Guidance on the different types of videos you can create and examples from our existing clients:

  • Long form videos with narration:

Creating a walkthrough of your VRIFY content with live commentary is an effective way to tell a compelling story and provide investors with a deeper understanding of your content.

These types of videos should be shared on social media platforms like YouTube and Vimeo where users are more likely to watch long form videos. Be sure to also include a link to your VRIFY deck in the video description so that investors can revisit pieces of your content that most interested them

Here is an example from an existing VRIFY client: Nevada Exploration on YouTube

  • Short form videos without narration:

Creating a short highlight reel of your VRIFY content is a quick and effective way to catch the attention of investors through the interactive nature of VRIFY content.

The goal of these videos should be focused on showcasing the dynamic nature of your 3D and 360 content to increase the likelihood of viewers clicking on a link to your VRIFY deck.

These types of videos should be shared on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter where users are more engaged with content that delivers impact within a short period of time.

Here are a few examples from existing VRIFY clients: Newcore Gold on LinkedIn, Eloro Resources on Twitter

TIP 1: Always ensure your video is viewable from your social media post, instead of a video link. If sharing the VRIFY provided video link doesn’t display the video in your post, please download your video and upload it to your chosen social media platform so that you can benefit from the better engagement that comes with a video post.

TIP 2: Don’t forget to include a link to your VRIFY Deck for investors interested in learning more.

Why use VRIFY's Video Recording Tool

VRIFY's Video Recording Tool is built to produce a high-quality recording of 3D models and 360 Tours that would normally suffer from laggy or choppy video playback when recorded from other video recording tools on the market.

We also make it easy for you to share videos that you have recorded hosted directly on VRIFY if you preferred to share them securely instead of using social media.

Step-by-step instructions on how to use VRIFY's Video Recording Tool

  • Step 1: Login and navigate to 'Meetings' from the top nav bar

  • Step 2: Click on the 'Start a Meeting Now' button

  • Step 3: Choose the deck you'd like to create a video recording of and start your meeting

    • TIP: If you'd like to include an avatar of yourself speaking alongside your recording, enable 'Video Conferencing' for your meeting

  • Step 4: Click on the 'Record' button located at the bottom centre of your screen

  • Step 5: Once you are done recording your video, click on the 'Record' button again to stop your recording and an email will be sent to you with a link to your video

    • TIP: Be sure to check your spam/junk folder

  • Step 6: Either download your recording and share it on the social media platform of your choice OR share the link securely with investors or other stakeholders
