Use access permissions to control who can view and edit specific Decks.

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Access Permissions allow you control who can view any VRIFY Deck you've created for your company.

Keep Decks private while your team is still creating, editing and/or reviewing, and make them public when you're ready to share widely with investors.

For particularly confidential content, use our secure setting to share Decks only with specific Company Admins and/or VRIFY team members you choose to collaborate with. Any viewers beyond this will need a secure link to view.

Access Permission Overview

There are three access permissions available to choose from: Public, Private, and Secure.

Public

Anyone can view this Deck on VRIFY.com and the VRIFY app. Public content can be embedded on a company website and will be viewable to all users. All Company Admins can edit Public Decks.

Private

All Company Admins can view and make edits to this Deck. It will not be visible to any other users on VRIFY.com and the VRIFY app without a Secure link and password. Do not embed Private content on your company website; it will not be viewable.

Secure

Only manually selected Company Admins and/or VRIFY team members can view and make edits to this Deck. Secure content will not be visible to any unselected users on VRIFY.com or the VRIFY app without a Secure link and password. Do not embed Secure content on your company website; it will not be viewable

Step-by-Step Instructions

Making your Deck Public:

In order to share your deck with investors, embed it on your corporate website, and have it discoverable by anyone browsing VRIFY, you'll need to change the Access Permission to Public.

  1. Launch the Editor by logging into your profile at VRIFY.com and selecting Admin in the top navigation bar.

  2. Navigate to the Deck you’d like to edit using the left sidebar Deck tab.

  3. Click on the 3 dot menu beside the title of your Deck.

  4. Click Deck Settings

  5. Change the Access Permission status to Public.

  6. Click Update to save your changes.

Once you make your VRIFY Deck Public:

Making your Deck Private:

Use the Private setting for Decks you only want your internal team to access. Note that when you create a new Deck, the default setting is Private until your content is ready to publish.

This includes Decks that are not yet final, that need to remain confidential until a specified time/date (e.g. a press release) or that you no longer want investors to access but still want to reference internally.

  1. Launch the Editor by logging into your profile at VRIFY.com and selecting Admin in the top navigation bar.

  2. Navigate to the Deck you’d like to edit using the left sidebar Deck tab.

  3. Click on the 3 dot menu icon beside the title of your Deck.

  4. Change the Access Permission status to Private.

  5. Click Update to save your changes.

Making your Deck Secure:

Use the Secure setting for an added layer of control around who you want to view and edit your Deck. This setting requires you to manually select which Company Admins you want to have editing and viewing permissions. You can also choose whether you want VRIFY team members to collaborate.

NOTE: When you change the access permission to Secure for any Deck, unless you manually select additional Company Admins and/or the VRIFY Team, by default only you will have editing and viewing permissions.

  1. Launch the Editor by logging into your profile at VRIFY.com and selecting Admin in the top navigation bar.

  2. Navigate to the Deck you’d like to edit using the left sidebar Deck tab.

  3. Click on the 3 dot menu icon beside the title of your Deck.

  4. Change the desired Access Permission status to Secure.

  5. Click Update to save your changes.

  6. Next, click the 3 dot menu next to the Deck you just made secure, then click Manage Access.

  7. Set the access level for any Company Admins on your account (View & Edit, or No Access):

  8. Next, adjust the setting to either allow or not allow access for the VRIFY Team to view and edit the Deck. Note that granting access to the VRIFY team will grant viewing and editing permissions to your designated Customer Success Manager and Implementation Specialist.

  9. Click Done to update the access settings.

Notes

  • By default, all new Decks that are created default to the setting of Private.

  • When you change the access permission to Secure for any Deck, unless you manually select additional Company Admins and/or the VRIFY Team, by default only you will have editing and viewing permissions.

  • In the Manage Access settings, granting access to the VRIFY team will grant viewing and editing permissions to your designated Customer Success Manager and Implementation Specialist.
