Adding an AOI to a Workflow in VRIFY Explore

Learn how to add a saved Area of Interest (AOI) to a workflow and connect it to a Data Augmentation module.

Overview

In VRIFY Explore, the Select AOI step scopes a workflow to a saved Area of Interest (AOI). Add a Select AOI step to the canvas, select an AOI, and connect it to a Data Augmentation module. The module cannot run without it.

The step shows a map preview of the saved AOI and refreshes the preview after you apply your selection.

Add an AOI to a Workflow in VRIFY Explore

  1. Open the Add Step sidebar on the left.

  2. Under Source, select Select AOI.

  3. Click the step on the workspace to open the Step Details sidebar on the right.

  4. Select a saved AOI. Review the map preview.

  5. Click Apply Selection.

Select Apply Selection before you leave the step. Changes inside a step are not complete until you apply them.

Connect an AOI to a Data Augmentation Module in VRIFY Explore

  1. Click the connection point (circle) on the Select AOI step.

  2. Select a Data Augmentation module from the Add Step sidebar, or select the module already on the workspace.

Use Different AOIs with the Same Data in VRIFY Explore

To run a module on the same data with different AOIs, such as a regional and a local AOI, add a separate Select AOI step for each one and connect each to its own module.
