Overview
VRIFY Explore is a workspace where you build workflows that prepare your data for Data Augmentation modules. Data Augmentation converts exploration data into raster format, enhances existing rasters, and generates new derived layers. The result is the raster data stack that DORA uses to generate Prediction Maps.
In VRIFY Explore, you connect steps in sequence, transform your data, run Data Augmentation modules, and preview your data before and after processing. You then save the output rasters for use in your DORA experiments.

How VRIFY Explore Workflows Are Structured
A VRIFY Explore workflow is a visual graph made up of connected steps. Each step is a single operation, such as importing a data source, applying a transform step, or running a Data Augmentation module. Data flows through the connections from one step to the next.
A workflow can follow a simple sequence, branch into multiple processing paths, or combine outputs from multiple branches in a single Save to Asset or Save as Draft step.
To add the next step, start from a step’s output port. VRIFY Explore shows the steps that can connect to it.
If you change an earlier step, any connected downstream steps need to be rerun. Because workflows are repeatable, you can rerun one when your source data changes, such as when you receive an updated soil survey, without rebuilding it.
Step Categories in VRIFY Explore
The Add Step sidebar organizes steps into four categories:
Source: Your input data. See Source Steps in VRIFY Explore.
Transform: Prepares or modifies your data before processing. Row and column filters apply to point and line data. Raster Calculator applies to raster data.
Data Augmentation: The modules that generate your output rasters.
Terminal: Save to Asset or Save as Draft.
A typical workflow moves through these categories in order. Transform steps are optional.
Source Steps in VRIFY Explore
VRIFY Explore has four Source steps:
Select AOI: Scopes a workflow to a saved Area of Interest (AOI). The step shows a map preview of the AOI and refreshes it after you apply your selection.
Select Point Data: Uses point-based datasets.
Select Line Data: Uses line-based datasets.
Select Rasters: Uses raster datasets.
Point data and line data share the same workflow. See Creating a Point or Line Data Workflow. Raster data follows its own workflow. See Creating a Raster Workflow.
Workflow Status in VRIFY Explore
Each step shows its current status: Updated, Running, Success, Error, or Cancelled.
Changing an upstream step can make downstream results stale. Rerun the upstream steps to update the affected branch.
Save, Navigate, and Manage Workflows in VRIFY Explore
VRIFY Explore saves your workflows automatically, and they are available to all users in your company. See Saving and Exporting Outputs in VRIFY Explore to save output rasters and export results.
See Navigate and Edit the Canvas to move around a workflow and edit steps. See Find and Manage Workflows to search, rename, create, and delete workflows.
