Overview
This article explains how files are organized on the Files page in VRIFY, including accepted file types.
Following these guidelines ensures smooth processing, accurate 3D modelling, and compatibility with VRIFY Present and VRIFY Predict (DORA 2.0).
Upload Guidelines
Clear organization can help your files move through review more quickly and make collaboration easier. Some things to keep in mind:
Use clear and consistent file naming. For example, including terms like “Collar” or “Survey” can speed up processing and reduce manual review
Place files in the most appropriate folder, and use the most specific subfolder available
Review accepted file types to avoid getting an “Incorrect file type” error
You don’t need every data type; what you upload depends on your workflow (VRIFY Present or VRIFY Predict)
Below is a breakdown of each folder, its use, and the supported file types.

3D Infrastructure
3D models of infrastructure.
Processing plant examples include waste dumps, closure/reclamation shapes, tailings facilities, and stockpiles.
Infrastructure examples include roads, power lines, rail, local communities, neighbouring or competing properties, and surficial geological features (e.g., trends, fault lines, zones).
Underground examples include stopes (mined or unmined), shafts, raises, adits, declines, life-of-mine (LOM) sequences (years/phases), and historic or planned workings.
