Organize your files into the correct folders when uploading to VRIFY.

Overview

When uploading files to VRIFY, it's important to place your data into the correct folders. This keeps your projects organized and ensures smooth collaboration between your team and the VRIFY team, as these files will be used in 3D modelling and predictive targeting.


File Format Guidance

When uploading, the system will display accepted file types for each folder. Be sure to check the prompt when uploading to ensure you have the correct file types.

Below is a breakdown of each folder, its use, and the supported file types.


Photos

Static visual content like site photography or remote imagery.

  • Subfolders:

    • Drone 360s, Satellite & Orthophoto, Drilling Core Photos, Uncategorized (miscellaneous images).

  • Formats accepted: .jpg, .png, .tiff, .ecw

Graphics

Logos, legends, icons, and scale bars.

  • Subfolders: Logos and Legends, Scale Objects and Bar, Icons

  • Formats accepted: .jpg, .png, .tiff, .ecw

PDFs

Reports, datasheets, and formatted documents.

  • Formats accepted: .pdf

Topography

Elevation data and digital elevation model.

  • Formats accepted: .dem, .asc, .gpkg, .gdb

Property Boundaries

Project or claim boundaries and license areas.

  • Formats accepted: .shp, .kml, .kmz, .gpkg, .gdb

Exploration Targets

Identified areas for potential mineralization.

  • Formats accepted: .shp, .gdb, .gpkg, .kmz, .tab

Area of Interest (AOI)

Defined project focus boundaries.

  • Formats accepted: .shp, .gdb, .gpkg, .kmz, .tab

3D Objects

3D models of infrastructure.

  • Subfolders: Processing Plant, Infrastructure, Pits, Underground Files, Uncategorized

  • Formats accepted: .dxf, .dwg, .fbx, .dae, .obj, selected GIS formats

Drilling

Drill-related data in tabular format.

  • Subfolders: Drillholes, Proposed Drillholes, Highlights, Lithological Drilling

  • Formats accepted: .csv

Geology

Geological interpretations and models.

  • Subfolders: Geological Features, 3D Objects, Uncategorized

  • Formats accepted: .pdf, .tiff, geospatial formats, meshes

Surface Geochemistry

Soil and rock chemistry data.

  • Subfolders: Lake Sediments, Stream Sediments, Soil, Rock, Till, Water Samples, Uncategorized

  • Formats accepted: .csv

Geophysics

Geophysical survey data.

  • Subfolders: Magneto Tellurics, Magnetic, Gravity, Electromagnetic, IP DCIP, Radiometrics, Uncategorized

  • Formats accepted: .csv, .shp, .tiff, .grd, .gdb, .ers, .dxf, .omf, .mod

Resources & Reserves

Resource/reserve estimate data.

  • Formats accepted: .csv, .dxf

Spectral

Spectral imaging and mineral scanning data.

  • Subfolders: Remote Sensing, Spectral Survey, Point Data, Core Scan, Uncategorized

  • Formats accepted: Varies by subfolder. Common formats include .tiff, .ers, .csv, .pdf, .obj, etc.

Uncategorized

Files that don’t yet fit into a defined category.

  • Formats accepted: Full list of all accepted file types.

Note: Use Uncategorized only when unsure, and reorganize later for clarity.


Tips for Uploading

  • Use the most specific subfolder available to keep your data well-organized.

  • Make sure your files are in supported formats to avoid upload errors.
