Step-by-step instructions on how to convert your embedded decks to the new animated version

Updated over a week ago

We've designed a new and improved option for embedding decks on your company's website that uses an animated preview of your 3D and 360° interactive content.

Some background below, or skip to step-by-step instructions for converting your embeds to the new format.

Companies who use animated embeds can expect to generate up to 8x more engagement when compared to the classic (legacy non-animated) version.

Example of what the new version looks like:

How this will increase engagement:

  • Making the visually compelling interactive content of your VRIFY Deck front and center means it's less likely that an investor will scroll past it

  • Stronger call-to-actions designed to encourage engagement

  • Launching the full VRIFY Deck in a new tab offers a better viewing experience with more space to navigate

Please note that you will now only be able to create classic (non-animated style) decks upon request. Talk to your Customer Success Manager if this is the case.

Converting a classic embed to the animated version

  1. In the VRIFY Editor tab, select 'Embeds' on the left sidebar

  2. Click 'Switch to Animated' in the actions menu of the embed currently being used on the webpage(s) you would like to update

TIP: Identify where all your embeds are currently located under 'embed location' to help you manage content going forward.

  3. You will be prompted to choose the starting slide and ending slide that will comprise the animation. You'll see a preview of your selection load so you can decide what looks most visually engaging.

IMPORTANT: If your VRIFY Deck does not have at least one 360 slide or two 3D slides, you will not be able to create an animated version. This is an easy fix, so reach out to your Customer Sucess Manager for support.

  4. Click the 'Update Embed' button.

  5. That's it! Refresh the webpage where your embed is located to view.
