Add a VRIFY Deck to Your Press Release

Best practices for sharing or embedding your VRIFY Deck in a press release.

Updated this week

Overview

Using VRIFY content in your press releases helps you stand out and gives investors a clear, visual way to understand your story.

Most companies distribute their press releases in two ways:

  1. Through a press release distribution service such as Newswire, Business Wire, GlobeNewswire, PR Newswire, etc.

  2. On their own company website, typically in the News or Press Release section.

Each option requires a slightly different approach for including VRIFY Decks:

  • Over a press release distribution service, you can include a direct link to your Deck.

  • On your company website, you can embed your Deck directly into the press release for an interactive experience.

We cover both scenarios below.

Option 1: Link a Deck in a Press Release Distributed Through a Service

⚠️ Important: Your VRIFY press release Deck will remain unpublished until you are ready to circulate your announcement. Be sure to complete the steps below before your press release goes out!

Press release distribution services (e.g., Business Wire, GlobeNewswire) do not support embedded VRIFY Decks. Instead, you can include a direct link to your Deck.

Do not hyperlink your Deck, as most distribution services will strip out hyperlinks. Instead, paste the full URL directly into the body of your release.

How to Add a Deck Link:

  1. Create a Secure Link to your Deck. This adds an extra level of security to your press release.

    • Note that you do not need to enter an email address when creating this link.

  2. Place the link as high up in your press release as possible so it won’t get overlooked.

  3. Use clear, attention-grabbing copy (see example below).

  4. If you plan to present the Deck, you can change your Deck from Private to Public.

  5. Confirm your Deck is live by logging out of VRIFY (or using an incognito browser) and copy and pasting the secure link.

Option 2: Embed a Deck on Your Company Website

If you also publish your press releases on your company website, you can embed your VRIFY Deck directly into the page. This gives investors an interactive experience without leaving your site.

How to Embed a Deck:

  1. On the day that your press release is set to go live, change the Deck to Public so you can create an Embed.

  2. Create a new Deck Embed.

  3. Provide the Embed code, in addition to sizing and placement guidelines, to your web developer.

  4. Place the Deck as close to the top of the press release as possible for maximum visibility.

  5. For added exposure, also embed it in a central location on your site, such as the homepage.

  6. Confirm your Deck is live by logging out of VRIFY (or using an incognito browser) and checking that the Deck Embed opens without logging in.

Recommended Approach

Many companies do both:

  1. Distribute a press release through a press release distribution service with a direct link to the Deck.

  2. Publish the same press release on their company website, embedding the Deck for a richer, interactive experience.

This ensures your announcement gets maximum visibility while giving investors an engaging way to explore your results.
