Overview
When you create a VRIFY embed, it displays as an animated looping preview of the 3D and 360° slides you selected. This animation is what makes the embed engaging for visitors to your website.
In some cases, an embed may stop animating. This happens when the slides it depends on are removed from the 3D Presentation. This article explains what causes this and how to avoid it.
What Can Cause an Embed to Stop Animating
An animated embed relies on the specific slides you selected when creating it. If those slides are removed from the 3D Presentation, the embed loses its source content and will no longer animate.
If you delete a 3D or 360 slide that your embed references the embed will stop animating. Once this occurs, it cannot be undone. To restore the animated experience, you will need to recreate the deleted slides and create a new embed.
Best Practices
Before deleting any slide, check whether it is used by an active embed. You can see a list of embeds at vrify.com/admin/embeds. If you are unsure, contact your VRIFY representative before making changes.
Check your live embed after making any changes to your 3D Presentation. Visit the page on your website where the embed appears to confirm it still looks correct after any edits.
Keep your embed up to date when your presentation changes. If you add new slides, you may want to update your embed's animation range. See Change or Edit the VRIFY 3D Presentation Embedded on Your Website.
