[Present 3.0] Create and Customize a 360° Slide

Learn how to create a 360° Slide, add a 360 image, and set a custom transition viewpoint in Present.

This article explains how to add a 360° image to your 3D Presentation and control how the slide loads.

Once your 360° slide is set up, you can enhance it with interactive Hotspots.


Step by Step Instructions

Create a 360° Slide

  1. Open your 3D Presentation

  2. Click + Add Slide

  3. Select 360

  4. Select the Asset you want to add

    • Note: The list will be blank if there are no 360° images available in the asset files

  5. Click Continue

A blank 360 slide will load.

Add a 360° Image

  1. Click Edit 3D Slide

  2. In the left side panel, open 360 Imagery

  3. Select the image you want to use

  4. Click the + to add the image

Set Transition Viewpoint

The Transition Viewpoint determines where the camera moves after the slide loads.

  1. In the Objects in Model panel, open 360 Imagery

  2. Select your image

  3. Click the blue icon beside Set Transition Viewpoint

  4. Right-click and drag to rotate the image

  5. Use your mouse wheel to zoom in or out

  6. Click Save Viewpoint

When the slide loads, the view will move smoothly to the saved transition point. Use this to guide attention to a specific feature within the image.

Reset a Viewpoint

If needed, you can reset the viewpoint to return the image to the previous position.

  1. Open the viewpoint panel

  2. Click Reset


Add Hotspots to Your 360° Slide

Hotspots allow you to add interactive points to your 360° image.

You can use Hotspots to add:

  • Location Points – Mark and name specific areas within the image

  • Information Points – Add descriptive details about features in the image

  • Other 360° Sites – Link 360° images for a connected viewing experience
