Create a View-Only Share Link for DORA Prediction Maps

Learn how to create a shareable link for view-only access to your DORA experiment.

Updated over a month ago

Overview

You can generate a view-only share link for your DORA Prediction Maps to share with your company admins.

This feature provides full map navigability while preventing any changes to the experiment's configurations. View-only links are perfect for sharing results or updates, giving others visibility without affecting your experiment settings.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Log into VRIFY

    • Go to VRIFY.com and sign into your account.

    • From the left-hand menu, click DORA.

  2. Open the Prediction Map

    • From the list of experiments, find the Prediction Map you want to share.

    • Click on the map to open it.

  3. Generate a View-Only Link

    • In the top-right corner, click the Share icon:

      • Share Icon in upper right corner
    • A view-only URL will appear in a pop-up window.

    • Before sharing the link, toggle specific users from No Access to Can View to grant them access:

      • VPS Slider
    • Note: Only company admins with access granted here will be able to open the link. Others will see an access error.

  4. Copy and Share the Link

    • Click Copy next to the URL to copy it to your clipboard:

    • Share the link with company admins who have been granted access.

Notes

  • Set the Final View Before Sharing:

    • Viewers will see the last saved screen and vantage point when they open the view-only link. Before sharing, position the map to highlight the most important details.

  • Display Relevant Information Only:

    • Make sure key data is visible — such as VRIFY Prospectivity Score (VPS) results or target zones — and hide any unnecessary layers (like learning data) to avoid clutter. Some viewers may not be familiar with the DORA interface, so aim for a clean, informative layout.

  • View-Only Access Details:

    • Viewers can see the experiment’s detailed settings but cannot make any changes.

  • What Viewers Can Adjust:

    • Even with view-only access, users can interact with certain visual elements:

      • VPS Legend Slider: Adjusts how VPS results appear on the map:

      • VPS Slider

      • 3D Layers Menu: Enables toggling visual layers on or off:

      • Vertical Exaggeration Slider

      • Vertical Exaggeration Slider: Enhances the visibility of surface features by adjusting terrain depth and height:
