What is a Prediction Map in DORA?

Learn what a Prediction Map is in DORA.

Updated this week

Overview

In DORA, a Prediction Map will show you where there is a high probability of finding your desired commodities at your prescribed grades. We call this probability the VRIFY Prospectivity Score (VPS). To produce a Prediction Map, follow the six step process to apply desired parameters and settings. By tailoring these settings, you can optimize the AI model to better suit your target commodity and project-specific needs.

In each Prediction Map, you can optimize the AI model for your specific project and target commodity. This involves defining your Area of Interest, selecting relevant data points (Features), specifying the target commodity and its threshold, and fine-tuning other parameters that shape DORA's outputs.

Prediction Maps are designed to be collaborative. Your geoscientists and project team members can create and configure their own Prediction Maps or work together, pooling their expertise to refine experiments for better results. This flexibility allows for multiple hypotheses to be tested across different datasets, maximizing the value DORA can deliver.
